HSS T1 Steel!
Mascot Steel Centre is proud to produce and offer T1 (1.3355) - one of the original tungsten high speed steels, although all tungsten steel grades are used to a limited extent because of the cost and questionable availability of tungsten. T1 high speed steel is an air or oil hardening tool steel which has good comprehensive performance. The material exhibits excellent wear resistance and resistance to softening. It also offers good toughness, effective cutting performance, and a strong response to deep hardening.
Steel Properties
- Tungsten high - speed tool steel
- Very high resistance to wear and to softening
- Good toughness and cutting capability
- Deep hardening response
