Spring Steel Sheets

Spring Steel Sheets are a type of high-carbon or alloy steel specially designed to have excellent elasticity, strength, and fatigue resistance. These sheets can return to their original shape after bending or twisting, which makes them ideal for applications where flexibility and durability are required. Spring steel is known for its ability to withstand repeated stress without breaking, making it highly reliable in mechanical and industrial uses.

Spring steel sheets typically contain high carbon content (around 0.5%–1.0%) along with elements like silicon, manganese, and sometimes chromium or vanadium, which improve strength, hardness, and resilience. After proper heat treatment (hardening and tempering), these sheets achieve high tensile strength and excellent spring properties. They also offer good resistance to wear and deformation under load.

Because of these properties, spring steel sheets are widely used in the manufacturing of leaf springs, coil springs, washers, clips, automotive suspension parts, agricultural tools, and industrial components. Common grades include EN45, EN47, 65Mn, and SUP9, depending on the required strength and application. Spring steel sheets are essential in industries like automotive, railways, construction, and machinery, where components must handle continuous stress and maintain their shape over time.
